Introduction to American style Low & Slow (L&S) BBQ with Tony Spencer.
Tony will give an informative talk about the origins of L&S bbq in Australia, cover basics about meat cuts, cooking temperatures, rubs and sauces, tricks & tips.
Tony will talk through the various smokers on the market today their pros and cons, price points and fuel types.
Products / brands discussed and used will be Weber Smokey Mountain, Yoder Pellet Grill, Louisiana Pellet Grill, Weber kettle, Primo Ceramic Grill.
There will be some food to try as well as light refreshments.This session is ideally suited to someone wanting to get started in L&S.
